Devlog - November 2025

Welcome to the November Devlog for Kalempirion Studios! A lot of work done on the Demo for the Ultimate Edition this week as well as some new strategic development directions… which is just a fancy way of saying “Oh wow, I just realized I’ve been doing a few things wrong!”

Thank you for following along on this journey!

What The Studio has been working on:

  • Feature Development:
    • “A Session with Dr. Liebnitz – Ultimate Edition” — Massive updates added to the Lisbon DevGAMM demo. A playable version of the demo will be out on Steam on the 8th of December, would love to hear your thoughts on this!

    • Finally scoped out and started working on the full version of the Ultimate Edition for “A Session with Dr. Liebnitz”. Expecting to wrap the production work by the end of the year, though that may just be a tad too ambitious.

    • Focusing a lot more on client-centric updates to this game, as well as focusing a lot more on player requests for the next projects. A lot of the work done at the studio so far has taken into account player feedback, but we want to take this a step further. Of course, the “Kalempirion” identity will always remain the same. It’s just a matter of prioritizing players and some commercial aspects over the purely experimental and artistic side. You can also follow our story on our YouTube and TikTok channels!

  • Art & Design:
    • New VFX actors and cool-looking designs for the Ultimate Edition of “A Session with Dr. Liebnitz”.

    • Final art and covers for the Ultimate Edition are out on Steam.

    • A brand new trailer as well as a devlog for A Session with Dr. Liebnitz Ultimate Edition.

    • New releases on Veritas Per Artem with “The Love From Above” being released on November 3rd. Massive tune, you can check it out on all streaming platforms!
  • The Challenges

    • Some more workload challenges that have carried across from the month of October. Thankfully though, we have taken some steps to create a strong work/life balance that will help us down the line!

    • Visibility remains an issue for A Session with Dr. Liebnitz. Of course, this is just the begining of a 4-5 month marketing campaign, so it’s not like millions of wishlists were just expected to come out of nowhere! Nonetheless, alongside making a quality experience, this remains one of the toughest challenges for this massive update.
  • What the Boss is excited about:

“I’ve taken a long time to think about this, but I’ve come to the conclusion that a lot of the stuff I’ve been doing has been done for myself and about myself….and I’m not necessarely the most “standard” person out there! I have got pretty specific, niched tastes which don’t translate to everyone.
Whilst that’s a good thing, as it makes up the foundation of my identity, I’m absolutely commited to tearing down some of my pre-conceptions about what games should be, and be much more open to change and to adapt to the wishes of gamers that want to have a Kalempirion experience!”

    DAC.

Note: This is the official cover for the Ultimate Edition.
